Open Letter from Tom Serine, former ministry associate of Robert Roenspies of the Church Outreach Program. (COP)

Hello Friends--
The material linked below is public information acquired under the Freedom of Information Act by Harold Stocker and Tom Serine. My former employer, Robert Roenspies, founder and Pastor General of the Church Outreach Program (COP) states in a taped sermon that cancer was the cause of his daughter's death.
Like those who remain in the COP, I once believed his claim. Having seen these documents, I--and approximately half of the members--left. (Concerns also included many serious financial matters which will be addressed in later material.) To this day we are wondering who "Dr. Munshu" is, a name provided by Robert Roenspies to the police investigating his daughter's death and mentioned in the documents linked here. The only doctor in COP was Dr. William J. Mauer formerly of Arlington Heights, Illinois. I spoke to the Elgin police, who were unable to locate any Dr. Munshu in the state of Illinois.
I hope that you will examine these reports and consider their ramifications before committing to involvement with Roenspies. It is healthy and reasonable to ask questions and get answers before aligning oneself with any group, individual or association. At this point, I--and many others--wish we had.
